Understanding the condition of a watch is an important part of your purchase decision.
For that reason we have made it as simple as possible for you to evaluated the condition of the watch your are interested in buying.
Naturally, we provide photos of our watches but also a verbal description. The terms we use are defined below.
LIKE NEW IN BOX: Like brand new. In pristine condition.
NEW OLD STOCK: New condition but items may show signs of shop wear or handling with light scuffs.
MINT: Near perfect condition. Worn carefully perhaps a handful of times.
EXCELLENT: May show very light wear marks, scuffs or scratches. No major dents or scratches.
VERY GOOD: Minor wear marks or scratches possible. Has been worn, but carefully. No major dents or scratches.
GOOD: Evidence of regular use and may carry small scuffs, dings and scratches but in very presentable condition.
AVERAGE: Showing clear signs of wear with obvious scuffs, scratches and dents.
POOR: Requiring restoration. May or may not be in working order.
